Usage reports
Closely integrated with Essentials Online’s in-course Question help and the GCSE curriculum map. The Usage reports enable accurate management information to be collected for year-wide usage as well as the all-important ‘exam readiness’ figures for each individual Year 10 and 11 student.
The year-wide reports can be accessed by teachers and head teachers and show the following statistics for the whole of Years 10 and 11:
- Total time spent across the entire school year
- Total number of revision sessions completed across the entire school year
- Average time per student spent revising online across the entire school year
- Average number of revision sessions per student across the entire school year
- The most popular GCSE subjects and units revised for the entire school year

Student reports
The student reports can be accessed by the head teacher, student’s teacher and the student concerned. The student reports give an excellent indication of how prepared each student is for their exam by giving the following four key ‘exam readiness’ figures for each individual Year 10 and 11 student:
- Number of timed, practice sessions the student has completed
- Total questions the student attempted using the in-course help feature
- Total questions the student attempted without using the in-course help feature
- Individual GCSE subjects and units which have and have not been revised per student
